About The Position
The Lead EVS Tech is responsible for leading & overseeing activities of Environmental Services Techs and providing a safe and hygienic environment for the benefit of patients, visitors, and staff. The Lead role will accept supervisory responsibilities as requested and assists with coordinating hospital throughput and efficiency as it relates to timely and quality-driven patient room cleans.
Requirements
- 1 year of environmental services experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma/ GED
- Prior lead or supervisory experience
- Certificate in Non-Acute Care Cleaning (CNACC) certification
- Certified Healthcare Environmental Technician (CHEST) certification
- Certified Surgical Cleaning Technician (CSCT) certification
