About The Position

Join our Environmental Services (EVS) Team at Moab Regional Hospital! You provide a safe and comfortable healing environment for our patients by ensuring clean, sanitary, and attractive facilities. EVS Techs follow standard precautions and established procedures for the safe use of cleaning chemicals and safe disposal of biohazardous waste. You are prepared to work with a range of potentially hazardous biological waste and trash. Full PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) is provided for all EVS staff to ensure personal safety is consistent with OSHA and other regulatory bodies. This is a non-exempt, full-time position that includes premium-free medical and dental benefits for the employee and their dependents. Requirements

Able to work effectively both as part of a small team and independently.
Accurately follow written and/or verbal instructions.
Strong listening and communication skills.
Able to read and understand instructions, chemical labels, and other written documents.
Hospital and/or professional housekeeping experience preferred.
Great customer service skills.
Able to receive and manage sensitive information professionally.
Able to handle stressful situations calmly; emotionally mature.
Able to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, push/pull equipment, and meet other mobility requirements.
Able to lift/move up to 30 lbs. without assistance and lift/move weights beyond 30 lbs. with assistance.
Ability to work in a confidential manner.
Reliable and timely with work schedule.
Flexible and willing to accept other duties as assigned.

Nice To Haves

Hospital and/or professional housekeeping experience preferred.
