About The Position

Founded in 1899, Dignity Health - St. Joseph’s Medical Center is a 355-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located in Stockton, California. The EVS Tech performs a variety of environmental service duties to maintain the hospital in a neat, orderly, sanitary and safe condition. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support the Organization's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of environmental service duties to maintain the hospital in a neat, orderly, sanitary and safe condition
• Completes assignment in a timely manner and in accordance with Department Policies and Procedures
• Understands and adheres to all Safety Policies and Procedures
• Maintains assigned duties in a clean, sanitary and secure manner
• Ensures all assigned areas including, but not limited to, lounges, rest rooms, exam rooms, offices, etc., have adequate disposable supplies
• Adheres to all Medical Center and Departmental Policies and Procedures
• Assures equipment is in operating order prior to use
• Uses vacuum cleaner in accordance with manufacturer's operating instructions.
