About The Position
The Lead EVS Housekeeper assists EVS management with day-to-day housekeeping operations, including staff scheduling, job assignments, performance management, and training. The role serves as the primary contact for Environmental Services needs during the shift and helps ensure services are delivered in a timely, consistent, and collaborative manner while following established standards and procedures. The Lead EVS Housekeeper also performs EVS technician duties.
Requirements
- One year of housekeeping experience in a hospital setting.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Basic organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- CPI certification is required within 30 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Assist EVS management with day-to-day housekeeping operations.
- Support staff scheduling and job assignments.
- Assist with performance management and training.
- Serve as a primary contact for Environmental Services needs during the shift.
- Ensure EVS services are timely, consistent, and collaborative, and that standards and procedures are followed.
- Perform the duties of an EVS technician.
