Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Equipment Finance Sales Specialist for our Transportation group covering Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, California, Hawaii and Nevada. In this role, you will be responsible for creating sales opportunities with equipment finance clients and prospects. You will identify, acquire, and grow new relationships within the transportation industry. You will coordinate the completion of finance requests from initiation, credit review process, documentation, and funding of transactions. You will also identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development, interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements, and collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals. You will interact with internal customers, receive direction from leaders, and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. You will originate transactions in direct origination for new relationships and growth opportunities, manage and grow existing business relationships with commercial businesses, and oversee growth opportunities and business relationships. You will lead complex initiatives and sourcing of new clients or growing of existing relationships for a given product or specialty in close coordination with coverage teams. You will understand clients’ businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions within the context of individual deals and client relationships. You will work independently on client transactions in partnership with client teams, including complex, larger, and multi-product financing opportunities, including analyzing potential opportunities, structuring, proposing, and selling tailored financial solutions to clients, leading internal coordination, and submitting transactions to management or independent risk for approval. You will strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid to senior level managers to resolve client issues and achieve business objectives. You will make decisions and resolve complex, multi-faceted situations and lead a team to meet a given product or specialty’s objectives while leveraging a sound understanding of relevant policies, procedures, and compliance requirements to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives. You will partner with product management functional partners to provide recommendations to leadership on evolving market needs to enable the innovation, design, and delivery of credit solutions more effectively. You will participate in large-scale planning related to a given product or specialty’s business objectives and serve as a mentor for less experienced individuals.
