As a key member of the Stability Analysis Team, the Lead Engineer performs safety analyses focused on plant thermal-hydraulic stability, plant noise, Power Range Neutron Monitor (PRNM) stability interfaces, and related reactor safety evaluations. The analyses support reload applications and operational needs for Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) fleets, including operating plants and advanced reactor designs such as the BWRX-300 deployed or planned worldwide. The role conducts thermal-hydraulic stability assessments, plant noise analyses, PRNM interface evaluations, and other safety analyses using advanced two-phase thermal-hydraulic analysis methods. It also supports fuel-related projects, including reload analyses, stability methodology implementation, new fuel design and deployment, and emerging fuel-related safety issues. The engineer collaborates across mechanical design, core design, licensing, systems design, and affiliated organizations; documents and presents technical analyses and recommendations; and provides technical leadership, mentorship, training, and process-improvement support. The role is expected to meet regulatory requirements, customer expectations, and company quality assurance processes. Access to U.S. export-controlled information is required; any applicable final offer is contingent on obtaining U.S. Government authorization. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Relocation assistance is provided. The U.S. pay range is $85,600 to $164,000, with geographic differentials in certain areas; compensation may depend on experience, education, and skills. The role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus. The posting is expected to remain open for at least seven days after October 21, 2026.
