About The Position

This position involves supervising maintenance employees, providing materials and planning for maintenance repairs, and offering leadership and direction to the maintenance team. The role requires assessing and responding to facility maintenance needs, ensuring safety, housekeeping, sanitation, and GMP requirements are met, and potentially assisting with general cleaning or other crew tasks.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of facilities maintenance experience.
  • Good written and oral English communication skills.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Able to work from a ladder.
  • Able to work rotating Tuesday-Saturday work weeks and weekends.
  • Able to pass a test at the appropriate skill level for this position.
  • Able to stand for prolonged periods of time on concrete/metal grate floors.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to interact positively with Plant Production and Maintenance personnel to resolve maintenance issues.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise maintenance employees as directed by Management in plant.
  • Provide materials and planning for maintenance repairs.
  • Provide leadership and direction to maintenance employees.
  • Interface with other department employees.
  • Assess and respond to facility maintenance needs.
  • Maintain safety, housekeeping and sanitation, and GMP requirements while performing job duties.
  • General cleaning and/or assisting other crew, if required.
