About The Position

PALS OHIO, LLC is hiring a full-time Lead Driver for its Mingo Day Program in Mingo Junction, Ohio. PALS develops person-centered programs that create opportunities and support a high quality of life for individuals with disabilities. The driver supports program operations by transporting clients safely from adult living facilities, residential homes, or other agreed-upon locations to programming and returning them to the agreed-upon locations each day. The role also includes transportation documentation, vehicle cleanliness, scheduled maintenance, and ensuring that company vehicles and safety equipment are in good working order. The listed salary range is $16.50–$19.00.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Successfully pass a DOT physical.
Commercial vehicle driving experience.
Provide an auto insurance policy.
Valid Ohio driver’s license with fewer than 6 points.
Driving history must meet the insurance carrier’s requirements.
Mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle maintenance.
Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen and physical.
Able to lift up to 20 pounds.
Availability for flexible hours throughout the day.
Light travel to local counties.

Responsibilities

Pick up clients from adult living facilities, residential homes, or other agreed-upon locations and transport them safely to programming.
Safely transport clients back to their agreed-upon locations daily.
Complete transportation documentation.
Maintain the cleanliness of company vehicles and perform scheduled vehicle maintenance.
Ensure company vehicles and their safety equipment are functioning and in good working order.
