About The Position

PALS is seeking experienced, energetic, strong, and dedicated staff to support adults with developmental disabilities. Direct Support Professionals provide supervision and support, assist with daily living activities, provide safe transportation, and accurately document the care and services provided. They also serve as friends and mentors by planning, encouraging, and carrying out social and occupational activities. PALS has provided services to individuals for over a decade. Rates vary based on experience, job category, location, and shift.

Requirements

• Successfully pass a DOT physical.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Current Ohio driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Acceptable criminal background verification.
• Willingness to provide fun yet responsible supervision and assistance to adults with developmental disabilities.
• Proficiency in verbal and written skills.
• Ability to work with diverse groups and individuals.
• Maintain current and annual training requirements.

Responsibilities
