About The Position

PALS is seeking experienced, energetic, strong, and dedicated staff to support the services provided to individuals with developmental disabilities. Direct Support Professionals provide supervision and support, assist with activities of daily living, provide safe transportation, and accurately document care and services. They also serve as friends and mentors while planning, encouraging, and carrying out social and occupational activities.

Requirements

• Successfully pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Current Ohio driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Acceptable criminal background verification.
• Willingness to provide responsible supervision and assistance to adults with developmental disabilities.
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work with diverse groups and individuals.
• Maintain current and annual training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
