About The Position

The Lead Driver for Non-Medical Transportation supports programming by picking up clients from adult living facilities, residential homes, or other agreed-upon locations and safely transporting them to the program. The driver also transports clients back to their agreed-upon locations each day. The role includes completing transportation documentation, keeping company vehicles clean, arranging scheduled maintenance, and ensuring that vehicle functions—including safety equipment—are in good working order. The position is full-time and requires light travel to local counties.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Successfully pass a DOT physical.
Commercial vehicle driving experience.
Provide an auto insurance policy.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
Ability to pass a background check, pre-employment drug screen, and physical.
Valid Ohio driver’s license with fewer than 6 points.
Driving history must meet insurance carrier requirements.
Mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle maintenance.
Availability for flexible hours throughout the day.
