About The Position

The Growth Effectiveness & Strategy team at Oak Street Health supports the broader Growth organization to improve and expand our Growth strategy and operations. The Growth team is broadly focused on helping Oak Street Health engage more adults on Medicare in the communities we serve by introducing them to our innovative and transformative approach to providing high-quality care. The Lead Director of Growth Operations & Strategic Initiatives will report into the AVP of Growth Effectiveness and Strategy, while working closely with the Senior Director of Growth Strategy & Analytics. This leader will partner closely with leadership across the organization, including our Chief Growth Officer and Division Presidents to develop and refine Oak Street’s growth strategy and will be responsible for designing and executing initiatives that support organizational growth priorities. This leader will also be accountable for transforming and automating how we analyze, report, and generate insights from growth performance data. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and implementation skills, be self-directed, and enjoy working with a team in a fast-paced environment, while bringing his/her experience, leadership, change management, and innovative ideas.

Requirements

  • Experience in a highly-analytical fast-paced environment; management consulting, investment banking, or private equity experience a plus

  • Proficiency with Salesforce a plus
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • MBA or other advanced degree a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of direct reports (Analyst - Manager levels) to support Growth analytics and efficiency
  • Drive strategic problem solving, opportunity analyses & new idea generation for initiatives within the Growth team
  • Scope and execute initiatives to drive growth efficiency
  • Drive cross-functional stakeholder engagement across Growth, Product, Data, Patient Experience & Service Operations to achieve alignment on key initiatives
  • Elicit feedback/input on these strategic Growth initiatives from various field cohorts (e.g., Regional Directors of Growth, Regional Vice Presidents, Division Presidents)
  • Closely collaborate with corporate teams to drive operational decisions
  • Analyze performance data across Growth channels to derive insights that will improve performance, guide field leader conversations, and support management decisions
  • Drive transformation and process improvement for data/analytics function, including implementation of best-in-class analytics tools, automation, and use of Artificial Intelligence in team’s work
  • Create content for executive-level meetings
  • Other duties as assigned
