About The Position

The Lead Direct Support Professional supports clients with health and personal care, therapeutic, educational, recreational, and leisure activities. The goal is to help individuals with special needs achieve maximum growth and learning as they transition throughout life. The role also provides guidance, coaching, and mentoring to Direct Service Professional staff on the assigned shift and helps address issues and needs of both clients and staff. This position is based in Jamestown, North Dakota, works evenings and every other weekend, and is scheduled for 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in the health care field.
• Completion of DD modules.
• Valid North Dakota driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Ability to learn and perform personal care, education, and therapeutic programs.
• Ability to learn and comprehend medical terminology.
