This role is for a Lead Digital Marketing & Design Specialist who will drive and execute marketing initiatives for SIMNET and its sister companies. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, working closely with the SVP of Sales and Marketing to translate marketing strategy into campaigns and projects that support brand growth, sales initiatives, and customer engagement. This lead role involves owning the marketing campaign calendar, coordinating marketing projects across teams, managing timelines and deliverables, and ensuring successful campaign execution from idea to completion.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in marketing, design, communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience (4 to 6 years).
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, graphic design, and content creation.
  • Proficiency with graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and familiarity with AI-powered design platforms.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, social media, and online content strategies.
  • Experience working with WordPress, social media platforms, and email marketing tools.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools, automation platforms, and APIs to streamline marketing processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple marketing projects and coordinate deliverables across teams.
  • Knowledge of marketing analytics and automation tools, with the ability to track and improve campaign performance.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate ideas into actionable marketing initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and creative problem-solving skills

  • Familiarity with IT and cloud hosting industry trends is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the SVP of Sales and Marketing to translate business goals into marketing initiatives and campaigns.
  • Own and manage the marketing campaign calendars.
  • Plan integrated marketing campaigns across digital channels including web, social media, email, and paid advertising.
  • Identify opportunities to improve brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Coordinate campaign timelines, priorities, and deliverables across departments.
  • Manage and optimize digital marketing channels including WordPress websites, social media platforms, email marketing campaigns, and digital advertising platforms.
  • Implement SEO improvements, website updates, and UX enhancements.
  • Leverage marketing technology including AI tools and APIs to automate marketing workflows and campaign scheduling.
  • Ensure marketing content is distributed consistently and effectively across all channels.
  • Lead the development of marketing assets and creative materials including social media content, digital ads, blog content, event promotions, presentations and sales collateral.
  • Provide creative direction to ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines.
  • Design and produce marketing materials when needed, including graphics, visuals, and digital content.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Serve as the lead coordinator for marketing projects/tasks across departments including Sales, Administration, Operations, and Leadership teams.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand marketing needs and deliver supporting materials.
  • Collaborate with vendors, agencies, and creative partners where needed.
  • Ensure marketing initiatives are executed efficiently and align with organizational priorities.
  • Track campaign performance using marketing analytics tools.
  • Monitor KPIs such as engagement, traffic, lead generation, and campaign conversion.
  • Provide regular insights and recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies and maximize ROI.
