This role involves supervising and assigning digital design work to meet production schedules, deadlines, and quality standards. The Lead Digital Designer will oversee digital design operations, review job specifications, determine production requirements, and resolve questions with requesters. They will also support the development of digital design demonstrations, presentations, and staff training. The position requires staying current with graphic arts technology, recommending process improvements, and monitoring supplies and departmental procedures in collaboration with the Manager. The Lead will also prepare monthly production reports, initiate job orders, and manage workflow in the absence of the Production Coordinator. Effective communication with internal departments and outside vendors regarding production, supplies, equipment, and services is essential.
