About The Position
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Dental Assistant to join our growing dental team. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong clinical assistant who enjoys leadership, mentoring others, and helping create an exceptional patient experience. As our Lead Dental Assistant, you will serve as a key member of the team by supporting the dentist, assisting with daily clinical operations, and helping ensure the office runs efficiently and smoothly.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of dental assisting experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures and clinical workflows
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to lead by example and support team success
- Passion for delivering outstanding patient care
Nice To Haves
- Previous lead or supervisory experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain clinical efficiency throughout the day
- Take digital X-rays and assist with charting and treatment planning
- Ensure compliance with infection control and OSHA standards
- Monitor and maintain clinical inventory and supplies
- Train and mentor new dental assistants
- Serve as a clinical resource for team members
- Help coordinate daily workflows to ensure an outstanding patient experience
- Support a positive and collaborative office culture
