About The Position

This position is for a Lead Data Developer focused on Analytics. The role requires a strong technical background in data pipeline creation, data engineering, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT processes. The individual will build and maintain robust backend systems using serverless technologies and utilize frontend visualization tools to create dashboards and reports. The role also emphasizes agile development, IT security best practices, and continuous integration/deployment. A key aspect of the role involves demonstrating thought leadership, driving innovation, and mentoring junior engineers. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for aligning engineering efforts with business goals. The ideal candidate is dynamic, adaptable, collaborative, and eager to learn and grow, with a passion for contributing to team success. Experience in pharmaceutical and digital healthcare technology is desired but not required.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field with a minimum of 11 years' experience; or Bachelor degree in Computer Science, or MIS, or related field with minimum 9 years of experience; or a Master degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field with minimum 7 years of experience; or relevant Business or IT experience of minimum of 11 years.
  • Minimum of 6 years programming experience preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years experience in data analytics or business intelligence.
  • Progressive IT and business experience of five (5) to ten (10) years is preferred in data analytics / business intelligence area.
  • Hands-on experience in Data pipeline creation, data engineering, Data warehousing, ETL/ELT (SQL, Informatica, AWS Glue, Databricks, DBT).
  • Experience with frontend visualization tools like (Tableau,PowerBI).
  • Hands-on expertise in agile development, test automation, IT security best practices, continuous development and deployment tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes), and functional programming.
  • Familiarity with IT security, container platforms, and software environments across QA, DEV, STAGING, and PROD phases.

  • Pharmaceutical & Digital Healthcare Technology experience desired not required.
