About The Position

This role is for a Lead - Data and Assessment (CHS) position, designated as Internal Only for the SY26-27 school year. The position reports to the Building Principal in collaboration with District Coordinators/Directors. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and licensed teacher with demonstrated exemplary teaching and instructional leadership skills. They must be familiar with various formal and informal assessments and possess the ability to manipulate and analyze data. A strong working knowledge of MasteryConnect is preferred. The role involves continuing the development of a holistic data collection system to support interventions, in-class adjustments, assess student progress in real-time towards lag measures (MCAS/ACCESS), and assist in creating intervention groupings and programs. The Data and Assessment Lead Teacher will provide both technical and adaptive support, including delivering professional development (PD) to staff on using MasteryConnect for achievement data and interventions, supporting staff in authoring and implementing standards-aligned assessments, creating investment across all levels and departments, and supporting the progress monitoring of the CHS Turnaround Plan.

Requirements

  • Experienced and licensed teacher in the respective discipline area.
  • Demonstrated exemplary teaching and instructional leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with a variety of formal and informal assessments.
  • Ability to manipulate and analyze data.
  • Upload a letter of interest to the "documents" section of your application in TalentEd.

Responsibilities

  • Continue the development of a holistic data collection system.
