About The Position

Goodwill of North Georgia is hiring a Lead Custodian at CDC Clifton in Atlanta, Georgia. The role leads staff and serves as the customer’s on-site point of contact when the site supervisor is not at the contract site, while also performing routine daily cleaning duties. The position operates under the guidelines of the Ability One Program and the Javits-Wagner-O’Day Act.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The work location is 1600 Clifton Road, Atlanta, GA 30329.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff when the site supervisor is not on site.
• Serve as the on-site point of contact for the customer when the site supervisor is not on site.
• Dust, mop, sweep, and damp-mop tile floors and stairwells.
• Dust and clean walls, doors, windows, and other surfaces above the floor.
• Dust, clean, and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Police common areas and the area around the building exterior.
• Empty trash from offices and other assigned areas and place it in designated disposal areas.
• Notify the supervisor of equipment or facilities needing repair or replacement.
• Perform other related work as required or instructed by the site supervisor.
