Requirements

The ability to read, write and communicate in English
Strong customer service orientation and customer service skills appropriate for the position level
Demonstrated advanced level custodial experience working in healthcare environment, with an understanding of necessary supplies and equipment.
Ability to work in various locations, as well as rotating shifts including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
Ability to perform the duties of an Custodian or Senior Custodian as outlined in the job descriptions
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within the work unit and across the Health System
Must be able to provide proof of work authorization

Responsibilities

Assists EVS Manager in maintaining a high quality standard by keeping him/her informed on the condition of all assigned areas.
Leads, trains and motivates the environmental services staff, ensuring all work is completed in a timely manner.
Assists management with prioritizing daily work activities, ensuring appropriate supply levels.
Assists with monitoring and training staff on Closet Tip lists.
Performs other various related housekeeping duties as assigned.
