As a member of GE Vernova’s CAD/CAM team, the Lead CNC Programmer contributes to factory volume ramp and standardization efforts. The role designs and optimizes CNC programs for complex multi-axis setups machining high-temperature superalloys, and uses digital-twin software to validate code and toolpaths before production. The position supports large VTLs, VBMs, 5-axis mills, and multi-purpose turn/grind machines up to 2.5 meters, as well as other CNC processes such as milling, turning, grinding, and EDM. The role develops adaptive probing routines, macro programming, and closed-loop machining processes; supports commissioning new machine tools and establishing machining standards; and works closely with Manufacturing Engineers and shop-floor teams. It provides CNC programming, troubleshooting, operator training, and support for tooling, fixturing, and workstation instructions. The Lead CNC Programmer also leads process-improvement projects and mentors and collaborates with team members in a fast-paced, matrixed organization. The position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. A final offer, if applicable, is contingent on the ability to obtain U.S. Government authorization for such access. GE Vernova states that it offers professional development and competitive compensation. U.S.-based pay is listed as $81,700 to $136,700, with geographic differentials in certain areas and eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus. Relocation assistance is provided.
