About The Position

Immanuel Pathways PACE® is seeking a Lead CNA to work at Pathways Southwest Iowa. This role provides support to the Participant Center Manager, including creating monthly schedules, training new employees, directing staff in daily operations, and providing coverage during the manager's absence. The Lead CNA will also assist with the organization and implementation of activity programs, monitor participant health status, and ensure a safe environment. This position functions under the direct supervision of the Participant Center Manager and works with indirect supervision from supporting departments such as Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Clinic, Dietary, Recreational Therapy, and Transportation. The Lead PCA will support the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) in the absence of the Participant Center Manager.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent is required.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate and minimum of one (1) year experience is required.
  • One (1) year of experience working with the frail or elderly population required, or completion of job specific training related to working with the elderly population must be completed within the first six months of hire.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and have your own reliable vehicle.
