About The Position

Immanuel Pathways PACE® is seeking a Lead CNA to work at Pathways Southwest Iowa located at 1702 North 16th Street, Council Bluffs, IA 51501. The schedule for this position is Monday Through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with working providing in home care on a 8th weekend rotation schedule. Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent is required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate and minimum of one (1) year experience is required.
• One (1) year of experience working with the frail or elderly population required, or completion of job specific training related to working with the elderly population must be completed within the first six months of hire.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and have your own reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Participant Center Manager including monthly schedules, training new employees, directing staff in daily operations and providing coverage for the Participant Center Manager during their absence.
• Assists with the organization and implementation of the activity programs.
• Monitors health status and provides a safe environment for participants.
• Functions under the direct supervision of the Participant Center Manager and works with indirect supervision from the departments they are supporting to include: Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Clinic, Dietary, Recreational Therapy, and Transportation.
• Supports the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) in the absence of the Participant Center Manager.
