Lead Childcare Teacher
About The Position
Excel Creative Early Learning, part of Early Learning Academies (ELA), is seeking a qualified Lead Teacher for its team. The role calls for flexibility to work with children from 6 weeks to 12 years of age. The center is also seeking an experienced Toddler teacher for children ages 1.5–2.5. The workplace emphasizes teamwork, a caring attitude, and a welcoming environment for children and families. The employer offers paid training, ongoing coaching, and opportunities to develop skills and pursue advancement. Full-time employees hired by December 15, 2026, are eligible to earn a $1,000 bonus after six months of employment, subject to the program's terms.
Requirements
- An AAS or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development, plus at least 1 year of experience in an early childhood licensed center; or
- Completion of all required ECE coursework for an AAS degree program in which the candidate is enrolled, without completing the degree, and at least 1 year of early childhood work experience; or
- At least 60 semester hours toward a bachelor’s degree, including at least 12 semester hours in ECE or Child Development, and 2 years of experience in an early childhood licensed center.
- Flexibility to work with children ranging from 6 weeks to 12 years of age.
