About The Position

The Lead Child Care Teacher creates interactive learning experiences and supports children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth. The role leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, follows licensing guidelines and company standards, and builds relationships with current and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success. The teacher also mentors fellow teachers and engages children in indoor and outdoor activities.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences.
• Mentor fellow teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the classroom.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
