About The Position

La Petite Academy is hiring a Lead Child Care Teacher to inspire children to become lifelong learners. The teacher creates fun, interactive learning experiences and mentors fellow teachers; promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children; leads classroom management and curriculum implementation; follows licensing guidelines and company standards; and builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support each child’s achievement and the center’s success.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
