About The Position

The Lead Child Care Teacher creates interactive learning experiences and mentors fellow teachers while promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children. The role leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, ensures compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards, and builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children's achievement and the center's success. Teachers work in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment and may engage with children indoors or outdoors.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
