About The Position

Our Client in Voorhees, NJ is seeking a professional Lead Certified Medical Assistant to join their growing Vascular Surgery specialty practice. This Lead CMA role is a full-time, Temp-to-Hire opportunity offering competitive pay and a rotating schedule across multiple South Jersey locations. In addition to hands-on clinical responsibilities, the Lead Certified Medical Assistant will support daily clinical operations, provide guidance and mentorship to Medical Assistants, and act as a frontline clinical resource to ensure high-quality patient care and workflow efficiency. Prior experience in a specialty or outpatient practice—vascular or vein care preferred—is strongly desired. This position requires rotation between several South Jersey locations: Mondays: Morning in Vineland (rotating), remainder of the day in Voorhees Tuesdays & Thursdays: Full day in Voorhees Wednesdays: Full day in Sewell or Voorhees Fridays: Full day in Sewell, or split between Voorhees and Sewell Mileage is reimbursed for travel specifically from the Vineland office to the Voorhees office.

Requirements

  • Certified Medical Assistant (Required)
  • Professional, patient-focused demeanor with the ability to lead by example
  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with exceptional attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a lead, senior, or preceptor Medical Assistant role
  • BLS Certification
  • Experience in a specialty practice or outpatient setting preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a clinical lead and daily resource for Medical Assistants across assigned locations
  • Greet patients warmly and prepare them for examinations and procedures
  • Obtain and document vital signs, patient concerns, and medical histories in the EMR
  • Assist providers with treatments and in-office vascular procedures
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and clear communication throughout visits
  • Support onboarding, training, and mentoring of new and existing Medical Assistants
  • Assist with coordinating daily workflows and maintaining efficient patient flow
  • Travel to satellite office locations as required (mileage reimbursement provided)
  • Assist with scheduling diagnostic testing and laboratory services
  • Prepare injection solutions and procedure setups as directed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sterile clinical environment
  • Ensure adherence to clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure HIPAA compliance
  • Communicate clinical or operational concerns to leadership as appropriate
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
