About The Position

Event Network is seeking a Lead Cashier to support retail operations at Hudson Yards. The role is at the forefront of guest interactions and focuses on ensuring smooth, efficient, and accurate transactions. The Lead Cashier handles standard and special transactions, opens and closes registers, and follows cash-handling and security procedures. This is a part-time seasonal position paying $18 per hour.

Requirements

• Prior retail, cash-handling, and customer service experience.
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Enjoy interacting with guests of all ages.
• Ability to proactively intercept and engage guests and demonstrate products.
• Welcoming, positive, and friendly attitude toward customers, team members, and venue staff.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Frequently stand, walk, and use hands to handle merchandise.
• Occasionally reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 15 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Handle register transactions accurately and confidently.
• Process returns, price overrides, and other special transactions.
• Open and close registers, maintain accurate cash flow, and follow security procedures.
• Engage with guests and demonstrate products effectively.
