About The Position

Crew Members are responsible for delivering great guest experiences. They prepare products according to operational and quality standards and serve them with enthusiasm in a clean environment. They perform housekeeping and stocking duties for the store. In addition, they may assist the Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager with balancing cash and making cash deposits. The Lead Cashier/Crew Member role involves minimal supervision of crew members during shifts, ensuring the store operates according to company policies and standards, assisting with daily paperwork and bank deposits, executing marketing initiatives, and training new crew members.

Requirements

  • Requires mathematical ability for proper cash handling.
  • Ability to provide prompt, friendly and quality customer service.
  • Ability to perform stock/inventory duties.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Successfully completes all training including (but not limited to) Dunkin’ Donuts Online University requirements, basic restaurant training, and Human Resource Training.
  • 1 – 2 years experience in customer service.
  • 1 – 2 years experience in cash handling.
  • 1 – 2 years experience in supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to specific guest needs and resolve problems with a sense of urgency.
  • Hold guests as highest priority and ensure each guest is highly satisfied with his/her experience.
  • Adhere to Brand standards and systems, delivering quality food and beverage to each guest.
  • Maintain a clean and neat workstation; complete thorough cleaning of guest areas as directed.
  • Complete all required training and support the training of other team members.
  • Prepare all products following appropriate recipes and procedures.
  • Follow all procedures related to cash, cleanliness, food safety, and restaurant safety and security.
  • Comply with all restaurant policies.
  • In the absence of the Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager, provides minimal supervision of crew members and assigns duties for a particular shift(s).
  • Ensure that the store is operating according to company policies/procedures and standards.
  • Assists the Restaurant Manager in processing the daily paperwork and bank deposit procedures.
  • Effectively execute and promote restaurant standards and marketing initiatives.
  • Assists with training new crew members and staff on food preparation, cash handling, and other company policies and procedures.
  • Communicate with team members and provides direction on food and drink orders.
  • Adheres to schedule and arrives ready to work on time.
  • Checks in new product in a timely manner.
  • Provides quality customer service by greeting each customer in a prompt and timely manner.
  • Performs food preparation.
  • Follows security and safety policies/procedures.
  • Assists in the processing of daily paperwork.
  • Assists in conducting inventory, placing orders, and processing merchandise received.
  • Attends store meetings and training classes.
  • Checks in new merchandise in a timely manner.
  • Performs stocking and/or pricing duties in a timely manner.
  • Cleans food service equipment as needed.
  • Performs miscellaneous housekeeping duties as needed.
  • Assists in covering other locations as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
