About The Position

The Lead Case Ready L004 at the Goodlettsville Case Ready Plant assists the Supervisor in coordinating the department’s daily responsibilities. The role ensures the Supervisor’s instructions are communicated to team members and carried out correctly and on time. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., and the pay rate is $24.00 per hour. This internal position is intended for team members currently working at the facility or complex. Applicants must have six or fewer attendance points and no suspensions in the last 12 months; new hires must complete their initial 90-day probationary period. The successful candidate must be able to perform the job’s physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation.

Be willing and able to assist with department tasks involving product flow, quality, yield, and labor efficiency.

Be able and willing to wear proper safety equipment.
Be willing and able to work overtime and weekends if required.
Be able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Monitor equipment to ensure it is working properly and notify the Supervisor when maintenance is needed.
Maintain a safe work environment and follow Tyson policies and procedures.
Assist the Supervisor with daily tasks to ensure proper product flow, product quality, yield, and labor efficiency.
Learn all positions in the department to assist with team member training.
Perform data entry and other tasks assigned by the Supervisor.
Communicate and organize effectively, and perform tasks with limited supervision.
Wear all required safety equipment.
Work overtime and weekends when required.
