About The Position

Ryder is hiring a Case Picker in Frankfort, Indiana, to support warehouse fulfillment and distribution of food products. The role involves picking products and cases, palletizing and wrapping products, and supporting inventory control. The listed pay is $21.00 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour. The schedule is Friday and Saturday from 5:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Monday and Tuesday from 4:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. Warehouse positions are paid weekly. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One or more years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Adequate math skills.
• Ability to recognize and read location codes and product codes.
• Ability to meet and exceed established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships with peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors across the organization.
• Ability to multitask; strong organization and time-management skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
• Some positions may require additional screening, such as employment and education verification, motor vehicle records checks and a road test, and/or customer badging or background requirements.

Responsibilities

• Pick products and cases.
• Palletize, hand stack, and stretch-wrap products as required.
• Safely operate material handling equipment.
• Assist with cycle counting and inventory control as required.
• Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
