About The Position

NOW HIRING: Lead Building Cleaner / Lead Housekeeper at Unity Village in the Lee's Summit Area. Join the City Wide Facility Solutions Team! We're looking for a dependable and motivated Lead Building Cleaner/Lead Housekeeper to help oversee daily cleaning operations at Unity Village. This role involves leading and supporting the daily cleaning team, ensuring all assigned areas are cleaned to company quality standards, inspecting completed work, training new team members, and performing various cleaning tasks. The position also requires reporting maintenance issues and promoting a safe and professional work environment.

Requirements

Must be 18 years old and successfully pass a background & E-Verify checks
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen
Lead or supervisor experience.
Must be reliable, willing to work at a fast pace, and be very detailed
Ability to listen to customer requests and follow supervisor’s directions
HS Diploma or GED
Smart Phone
Valid driver's licence and own vehicle
walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting and repeat cleaning motions; utilizing cleaning equipment and supplies; lift up to 35 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Leadership or team lead experience preferred
Janitorial or housekeeping experience is a plus
Cleaning experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Lead and support the daily cleaning team.
Ensure all assigned areas are cleaned to company quality standards.
Inspect completed work and maintain high cleanliness standards.
Train and assist new team members.
Clean offices, hallways, common areas, restrooms, kitchens, and other assigned spaces.
Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize all designated areas.
Restock janitorial and restroom supplies.
Report maintenance issues and communicate with supervisors.
Promote a safe, organized, and professional work environment.
