About The Position

City Wide Facility Solutions has IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for Building Cleaners/Housekeepers at Unity Village in the Lee's Summit area! No previous cleaning experience is required—we provide training! If you are dependable, detail-oriented, and take pride in keeping facilities clean and welcoming, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements

Must be 18 years old and successfully pass a background & E-Verify checks
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen
Must be reliable, willing to work at a fast pace, and be very detailed
Ability to listen to customer requests and follow supervisor’s directions
HS Diploma or GED
Smart Phone
walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting and repeat cleaning motions; utilizing cleaning equipment and supplies; lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

Arrive on time and prepared to perform scheduled duties.
Clean offices, hallways, lobbies, meeting rooms, and common areas.
Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners.
Dust furniture, ledges, baseboards, windowsills, and other surfaces.
Vacuum carpets and rugs.
Sweep, mop, and disinfect hard floor surfaces.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, counters, partitions, and floors.
Refill restroom supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and other dispensers.
Clean windows, glass doors, and other interior glass surfaces.
Make beds and change linens when required (depending on assigned area).
Clean and disinfect kitchens, break rooms, and dining areas.
Wipe down high-touch surfaces, including door handles, light switches, railings, and elevator buttons.
Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to supervisors.
Keep janitorial closets clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
Safely operate vacuums, floor scrubbers, mops, and other cleaning equipment.
Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
