About The Position

City Wide Facility Solutions is seeking a dependable and motivated Lead Building Cleaner/Lead Housekeeper to oversee daily cleaning operations at Unity Village in the Lee's Summit Area. This role involves leading and supporting the cleaning team, ensuring high-quality cleaning standards, training new members, and performing various cleaning tasks.

Requirements

Must be 18 years old.
Successfully pass a background & E-Verify checks.
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Lead or supervisor experience.
Must be reliable, willing to work at a fast pace, and be very detailed.
Ability to listen to customer requests and follow supervisor’s directions.
HS Diploma or GED
Smart Phone
Valid driver's licence and own vehicle.
The physical requirements of this position include: walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting and repeat cleaning motions; utilizing cleaning equipment and supplies; lift up to 35 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Leadership or team lead experience preferred
Janitorial or housekeeping experience is a plus
Cleaning experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Lead and support the daily cleaning team.
Ensure all assigned areas are cleaned to company quality standards.
Inspect completed work and maintain high cleanliness standards.
Train and assist new team members.
Clean offices, hallways, common areas, restrooms, kitchens, and other assigned spaces.
Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize all designated areas.
Restock janitorial and restroom supplies.
Report maintenance issues and communicate with supervisors.
Promote a safe, organized, and professional work environment.
