If you’re ready to grow with us, we’d love to hear from you. We are seeking a Production Lead to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As a Production Lead, you will be accountable for coordinating daily production activities, supporting line coverage, and ensuring products meet quality and safety standards while keeping production flowing efficiently.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3 years of related production experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 1 year of Lead Operator experience and 6+ months of Ingredient Operator or related experience
  • Ability to understand and operate mixing and dough processing equipment
  • Ability to read scales, temperatures, and complete production paperwork accurately
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to read and interpret SOPs, safety rules, and reports
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and SAP

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in fast-paced food production or bakery environments
  • Knowledge of dough mixing processes and production line setup
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement, Centerline, or CIL activities
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities and comfort supporting audits or inspections

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support production employees by coordinating staffing, assigning work, and providing shift coverage
  • Operate and assist in key production areas (Mixing, Sheeter, Oven, Packing) to ensure workflow continuity
  • Maintain accurate production documentation and ensure timely SAP data entry
  • Partner with cross-functional teams—Quality, Maintenance, Sanitation, Shipping—to support smooth operations
  • Support training, coaching, and cross‑training to build team capability and drive continuous improvement
  • Monitor compliance with GMPs, safety rules, food safety standards, and equipment procedures
  • Participate in root cause analysis, AOE activities, and daily line walks to identify and resolve issues
