About The Position

This role is for a Production Lead on the 1st Shift, specifically in the Pack Off area. The position involves overseeing daily production, ensuring quality, managing resources, and training line workers.

• Able to follow verbal instructions from a Supervisor.
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced and limited timeframe while remaining detailed-oriented, reliable, and organized.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Must follow all Safety rules and Company Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assigns line workers to positions and instructs them on daily production requirements.
• Monitors product in process, adjusts work schedules, supplies materials, and checks equipment as needed.
• Notifies Quality Control to check batches before start-up and throughout daily output.
• Stores unused food products in their designated area and maintains a clean work area.
• Verifies that paperwork is completed correctly and accurately reports down-time.
• Repairs machines or refers machine repairs to maintenance personnel.
• Trains and supervises workers on the department line.
• Assists in other areas as assigned by a supervisor or manager.
