About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a service-oriented Lead Baker to join the team at The Landing Chattanooga. The role prepares food for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banquets while maintaining sanitation, safe food handling, organized storage, and proper inventory rotation. The baker works with a manager on specials and menu variations and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role is required.
• Basic understanding of, or ability to learn, sanitation and workplace safety regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge of food preparation health and safety guidelines.
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.
• Ability to multitask.
• Team-player attitude.

• Maintain high sanitation standards throughout the area of responsibility.
• Keep food storage areas organized and clean.
• Handle and store food items properly at the end of the shift and rotate inventory.
• Prepare food to specifications for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banquets.
• Maintain clean and orderly storage areas and product pars.
• Work with the manager to create specials and other menu variations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
