About The Position

This role is for a Lead Automation QA Engineer with expertise in Calypso. The position involves defining and executing test strategies, leading various testing activities, and developing automated test frameworks. The engineer will work with tools like Calypso Automated Testing Tool, Selenium, JUnit, Cucumber, JMeter, LoadRunner, Jira, and Xray to ensure the quality of complex financial systems. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on validating trade capture, pricing, risk, settlements, collateral, SWIFT messaging, and accounting postings within Calypso workflows.

Requirements

Extensive experience leading quality assurance and testing for complex Calypso implementations
Strong knowledge of Calypso front-to-back workflows, including: Trade capture, Pricing, Risk, Settlements, Collateral, SWIFT messaging, Accounting postings
Experience developing and executing master test strategies for large financial-services transformation programs
Hands-on experience with the Calypso Automated Testing Tool (CATT)
Strong test automation experience using Selenium, JUnit, and Cucumber
Experience integrating automated test frameworks into CI/CD pipelines
Experience leading System Integration Testing, regression testing, and User Acceptance Testing support
Strong knowledge of test-environment coordination and test-data management
Experience validating position conversions and complex financial data
Hands-on experience with performance-testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner
Knowledge of security-testing practices and OWASP vulnerability-assessment principles
Advanced experience with Jira and Xray for test and defect management
Experience producing test metrics, traceability reports, evidence packages, and release-readiness assessments
Strong defect-management, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills
Excellent leadership, stakeholder-management, and communication skills
English level: Advanced

Responsibilities

Define, maintain, and execute the Master Test Strategy and detailed test plans
Establish testing scope, objectives, entry and exit criteria, dependencies, schedules, and quality gates
Lead testing activities across System Integration Testing, regression testing, performance testing, security testing, position conversion, and User Acceptance Testing support
Design, build, and optimize automated test frameworks and reusable test suites
Develop automated tests using the Calypso Automated Testing Tool, Selenium, JUnit, and Cucumber
Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines
Direct test-case development and execution across front-to-back Calypso workflows
Validate trade capture, pricing, risk, settlements, collateral, SWIFT messaging, and accounting postings
Coordinate test-environment setup, configuration, availability, and maintenance
Lead test-data planning, provisioning, validation, and refresh activities
Configure and maintain the tools required to support manual and automated testing
Coordinate System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing with technical teams, functional leads, and available business testers
Lead defect logging, triage, severity classification, prioritization, escalation, and resolution tracking
Manage defects and test execution through Jira and Xray
Monitor defect response and resolution progress and escalate risks affecting test completion
Oversee load, stress, batch, and performance testing using tools such as JMeter and LoadRunner
Coordinate security testing and vulnerability assessments based on OWASP principles
Maintain requirements-to-test traceability and ensure complete test coverage
Produce weekly test-execution metrics, readiness assessments, and quality-status reporting
Prepare test-summary reports, audit-ready evidence packages, and final testing sign-offs
Communicate testing risks, dependencies, blockers, and recommendations to project leadership
