About The Position

We are seeking an Android Development Lead to join "Squad A". This role involves recommending and implementing optimal mobile design patterns for a safety permit issuing application. The application is being rewritten on a cloud-native platform using .NET Core and React as the primary tech stack, with Android development on Samsung tablets. The role will follow Judge-led UI/UX design patterns. Initially, the focus will be on a lift-and-shift of an existing prototype with 9 screens and an underlying database. Following this, optimization efforts, UX and mobile recommendations, and design pattern validation will commence. Once these are incorporated, the full application development will proceed. The application is designed for internal technicians across 100+ nationwide facilities to ensure proper safety permits are issued before hazardous repair work begins. The current process involves technicians using tablets to collect risk-related data and upload photos, then syncing the data to issue permits.

Requirements

• Android development experience.
• Experience with .NET Core and React (primary tech stack).
• Experience with mobile design patterns.
• Ability to work with UI/UX design patterns.
• Experience with cloud-native platforms.
• Experience with tablet development (Samsung tablets mentioned).

Nice To Haves

• Experience with IONIC development.
