About The Position

This is a long-term tenure position for a Business Analyst specializing in HR Systems, specifically Workday. The role is located in Atlanta, GA. The initial contract is through the end of the fiscal year, with anticipated renewal on July 1st, subject to annual budget restrictions. The position involves reviewing and resolving data conversion issues, mapping data from legacy systems to Workday, and employing validation techniques to ensure successful data conversion. The Business Analyst will also develop test plans and scripts, conduct testing, provide technical support for system maintenance and enhancements, create user guides and documentation, and offer user support and training. A key aspect of the role is serving as a liaison between the Department of Administrative Services (DOAS) business units and the technical team.

Requirements

  • Strong data analysis skills.
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Excel, SQL, and/or data analysis tools.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to present and document high quality, detailed deliverables.
  • Four years' experience implementing and/or administering HRIS.
  • Direct experience in a large-scale data conversion.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience implementing or supporting Workday HCM.
  • Prior experience with PeopleSoft HCM.
  • Experience supporting technology in the public sector.

Responsibilities

  • Review and resolve data conversion issues to successfully map data from legacy systems to Workday.
