About The Position

Spring Valley Hospital is a member of The Valley Health System, a network of acute care hospitals, physician practices and outpatient services that provide care for patients throughout Southern Nevada and nearby communities. Located in southwest Las Vegas, the 366-bed hospital offers emergency care, advanced cardiovascular and neurological surgeries and procedures, surgical services, women’s health, comprehensive maternity services, and a level III neonatal intensive care unit. ER at Blue Diamond, an Extension of Spring Valley Medical Center, is a freestanding emergency department providing 24/7 emergency care to infants, children and adults. The Valley Health System (“VHS”) is an integrated system of care in Las Vegas and Southern Nevada comprised of acute care hospitals, physician practices and a variety of outpatient services. We focus on clearly defined goals designed to bring about exemplary patient care. This role is responsible for providing support to department and incoming patients of his/her representative and records information required for admission.

Requirements

  • High School or equivalent preferred.
  • Two years OF experience in a hospital admitting office or physician office preferred.
  • Computer proficiency to include word processing and patient accounting system
  • Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patient.
  • Some positions may require accurate interpretation and translation in a bilingual targeted language.
