About The Position

As a Lead 1 at Chuze Fitness, you will support your team by helping maintain a vibrant, professional, and efficient work environment. You will lead by example, demonstrating kindness and enthusiasm while focusing on enhancing the member experience. The role includes front desk and shift operations, employee training, gym cleanliness and presentation, member support, and administrative tasks.

Requirements

• Able to read, write, and speak clearly in English.
• Able to walk and climb stairs while touring the gym.
• Able to bend, kneel, and perform repetitive arm movements.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Able to operate a computer.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set and maintain Chuze standards for customer service by welcoming and interacting with members.
• Complete daily cleaning tasks and ensure the gym is extraordinarily clean and well-presented.
• Assist with front desk operations, including membership sign-ups, retail presentation, amenities, answering phones, point-of-sale transactions, and making smoothies where applicable.
• Train front desk employees and maintain knowledge of best practices and policies through in-person coaching, LMS learning paths, and Harassment Prevention training.
• Support daily shift operations, including coordinating employee lunch breaks, delegating and following up on cleaning responsibilities, and completing opening and closing responsibilities.
• Troubleshoot member inquiries and partner with management on escalated concerns.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including member management software reports, inventory counts, and managing club email.
• Attend and participate in regularly scheduled team meetings.
