The Kamaliʻi Engagement Intern supports Liliʻuokalani Center’s Recruitment, Enrollment and Engagement efforts that help connect youth and ʻohana to Liliʻuokalani Center programs and services. This internship provides hands-on experience in community-based youth programming while building foundational skills in communication, organization, and teamwork within a Native Hawaiian youth hub, Liliʻuokalani Center. Informed by a deep understanding of the adolescent experience and grounded in Hawaiian culture, the Liliʻuokalani Center provides Native Hawaiian youth with opportunities to connect with peers and mentors, access supportive services, and explore pathways to passion, purpose, and prosperity. As the newest initiative of Liliʻuokalani Trust, the Center serves as a vibrant youth hub where Kamalei can learn, play, and build connections. The Liliʻuokalani Center is a safe, pro-social space where youth are inspired to pursue their dreams through the arts, sports, technology, life readiness, and wellness while receiving wraparound supports that help them reach their goals and thrive.
