St Louis - Lawn Care Technician / Specialist
About The Position
Naturescape of St. Louis, MO is seeking to hire a Lawn Care Specialist to provide our customers with outstanding services for their residential and commercial properties. This role involves managing a route and transforming landscapes, acting as the face of the company in the field. The work is independent and outdoors, with a focus on precision lawn care, aeration, mowing, tree/shrub care and pruning, and mosquito control. Specialists also serve as consultants and problem-solvers, communicating with customers about landscape needs and explaining service benefits. The role requires adaptability to seasonal changes, including snow removal in winter. It is a licensed specialist position requiring state pesticide certifications. Naturescape provides paid training and emphasizes a 'learning by doing' approach, welcoming individuals with a 'can-do' attitude and a willingness to learn, regardless of prior lawn care experience.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs

- Previous experience as a general laborer, construction worker, landscaper, groundskeeper, or lawn mower.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding services for residential and commercial properties.
- Manage a route and transform landscapes.
- Complete precision lawn care, lawn aeration, mowing, tree/shrub care and pruning, and mosquito control.
- Act as the face of the company in the field and a consultant/problem-solver for customers.
- Assess lawn health and landscape needs.
- Communicate clearly and kindly with clients about their landscape.
- Adapt to seasonal changes, including performing snow removal in winter.
- Obtain and maintain state pesticide certifications.
