About The Position

Hooks, Meng & Clement (HMC) is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Clerk to join our team. This position will support the firm’s billing department through invoice processing, data entry, and coordination with attorneys and staff to ensure timely and accurate billing functions.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with basic office equipment and Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines while producing high-quality work
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Prior billing or accounting experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Data entry and maintenance of billing records
  • Maintaining and updating Excel spreadsheets utilized by the billing department
  • Submission of monthly invoices to clients
  • Assisting with all billing functions of the firm
  • Coordinating billing matters with partners, attorneys, and staff
  • Supporting additional accounting and administrative tasks as needed
