Fall Clerkship with Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid’s Immigration Law Project. This is an unpaid clerkship, and MMLA does not provide compensation. If interested in receiving fellowship funding, a grant, or academic credit, arrangements must be coordinated through the student's school. MMLA is seeking a law student intern for the fall semester. This is a hybrid position, with most work conducted remotely using MMLA-issued laptops and accounts. In-person work will take place at our downtown Minneapolis office and may also occur at community partner locations. This is an excellent opportunity for students to gain practical legal experience while giving back to their communities. MMLA provides clerks with robust training and practical learning opportunities. The organization is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), valuing unique identities, experiences, and perspectives. The mission is equal justice for all, with a special focus on advancing racial justice due to the impact of racism and Minnesota's racial disparities on clients and staff. Discrimination and harassment are not tolerated, and the organization is committed to building a respectful and supportive workplace.
