Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid (MMLA) is seeking a law student intern for the fall semester to work with its Immigration Law Project. This is a hybrid position, with most work conducted remotely using MMLA-issued laptops and accounts. In-person work will take place at their downtown Minneapolis office and potentially at community partner locations. This internship offers a valuable opportunity for students to gain practical legal experience while contributing to their communities. MMLA provides comprehensive training and hands-on learning experiences, emphasizing a genuine commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). The organization values the unique identities, experiences, and perspectives of its clerks and is dedicated to advancing racial justice due to the significant impact of racism and Minnesota's racial disparities on clients and staff. MMLA strives to foster a respectful and supportive workplace where everyone can thrive, aligning with its mission of equal justice for all.
