Nice To Haves

Previous experience working in a laundry facility is an asset.

Responsibilities

Follow proper procedures when entering guest rooms.
Take full linen racks to linen rooms on each floor of the Hotel.
Bring empty linen racks to the Housekeeping Department.
Replenish linen to ensure Room Attendants can complete their room assignments.
Report any lost and found items to Manager on duty.
Adhere to and comply with all safety regulations when handling hazardous materials according to the MDS.
Safe effective use of equipment.
Use only chemicals and safety equipment provided by the Hotel.
Comply with all Hotel policies and procedures.
Perform other tasks as assigned by Management.
Open communication with Managers to report challenges and issues.
Should always conduct him/herself with a pleasant and helpful attitude towards guest, co-workers and managers.
Only in the absence of Housekeeping Midnight Runner will the Laundry Runner respond to guest calls and deliver items to rooms such as hair dryer and cots.
Performs Housekeeping duties as required to balance the workload of the Department or to meet deadlines.
Report deficiencies or broken equipment to Laundry/Housekeeping Management
