About The Position

As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest quality of cleanliness in the laundry facilities, ensuring the cleanliness of guest linen, and providing efficient, prompt, courteous, trouble-free, and proactive service to guests.

Requirements

A minimum of (1) year of Laundry experience.
Able to speak and understand basic English.
Must be able to work independently and exercise good judgment to resolve issues.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of (1) years of hospitality experience preferred.
High School education preferred.

Responsibilities

Wash and fold linen.
Sort, separate, and transport linen from the chute room.
Maintain furnishings, facilities, and equipment in the cleanest possible condition, and ensure that repair and maintenance are executed when needed.
Be familiar with daily inventory and disbursement for all linen, cleaning supplies, guest rooms, meeting rooms, public areas and restrooms supplies, laundry supplies, and housekeeping related machinery and equipment.
Responsible for all rotational and special cleaning programs.
Keep linen closets and carts clean and stocked.
Know all housekeeping procedures to be a resource when needed.
Follow emergency procedures to provide for the security and safety of guests and employees.
Work in a safe manner that does not harm or injure self or others and wear and use the appropriate safety clothing/equipment supplied, and follow all maintenance instructions.
Keep work area clean and orderly, and report defective materials and equipment to immediate supervisor.
Perform any other duties assigned by his/her manager.
